WLVES began long before it had a name.

In 2008, Brandon Andersen picked up a camera to document the world he was already part of. Rollerblading became an early training ground for filmmaking, teaching him to anticipate movement, find composition in unexpected places and pay attention to the moments that happen between what was planned.

What began as a way to capture the people and culture around him became a way of seeing stories differently.

Today, that same curiosity sits at the heart of WLVES Digital Cinema. We listen, look closer and create films that feel honest to the people and stories behind them.

BRANDON
ANDERSEN

Brandon Andersen is an Atlanta based filmmaker and founder of WLVES Digital Cinema. His approach to filmmaking is rooted in curiosity, observation and a genuine interest in people and the worlds they create around them.

Beginning with a camera in 2008 and shaped by years spent documenting rollerblading and action sports, Brandon developed an instinct for movement, composition and finding meaningful moments as they happen. That perspective continues to influence his work across branded films, documentaries, culture and original storytelling.

Through WLVES, Brandon has created films with artists, athletes, brands, organizations and communities, always returning to the same idea: understand the story first, then find the most honest and cinematic way to tell it.
